AIM. receives seal of quality
After many nerve-racking hours and months of preparation for the quality verification carried out by the “Gütegemeinschaft Internationaler Freiwilligendienst e.V.” (quality control association for international voluntary service e.V.) we finally had our big day on October 26th 2015. With success we survived a day with an external investigator testing us at our office in Freiburg and fulfilled the requirements of the quality verification. A few weeks later the Gütezeichen Internationaler Freiwilligendienst Outgoing (quality label) was awarded to us.
The quality control association has high expectations on sending and hosting organizations of the international voluntary service and therefore we are quite proud to have managed the verification to satisfaction in most parts of our work in Ghana and Germany. Now we can lean back for a while even though we are eager to keep on working on improving processes concerning our internal and external work until it is time to get requalified in November 2017 where we, as African Information Movement e.V. have to prove again that our work effort is not only based on short term goals but furthermore on sustainability on a higher level.
