African Kiss Festival

Program

The AIM. Youth (African Information Movement e.V.) invites you on the 14. & 15.November 2015 to the 8. African Kiss Festival. For two days the NGO AIM offers together with Viva Con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. in the Mensa Rempartstraße entertainment in various areas. All of the revenue of the benefit festival is used to build the trainings center in Komenda (Ghana) and drinking water projects of Viva con Agua. A festival which combines fun and charity.

In this year the African Kiss Festival has a great program for every interested person of any age. During the day there are different activities like an african market, children entertainment, presentation of short movies from Ghana and many more.

FRIDAY

The first day has the slogan ‘African Culture’.
At 6 pm the day starts with the presentation of two short movies,  “Challange of Life” from Joseph Aketema and “Skin Canvas” from Anita Afonu of the international movie school from Ghana. Furthermore the famous dancer David Hermann from the show “Got to dance” presents his skills! At 8 pm music will be played from the Ghanaian band Akablay, who we are proudly presenting in this year.
At the after show party the Ghanaian DJ Original Mystic Alpha will grove with his vibe.

SATURDAY

The saturday starts at 12pm with an a religious worship. Afterwards there is a kids-café, a lounge, an African market, a drumming workshop and a children fashion show with clothes from a Ghanian lady who lives in Freiburg. Furthermore there are fairytales from Eritrea and Ethiopia told and acoustically accompanied by Dahab Paulos. In the evening starting from 8 pm Dub Tub & Iman (G), the winner of the “Echo” Mellow Mark (G) and the well-known local DJ Flowin Vibes are playing great music. The 8th African Kiss Festival will come to an end with an exciting fireworks at Riddims of Silly Walks Discotheque (G) with King Mas (J).
