The Basics of the Internet

In the past two weeks we were able to start with the subject the
Internet in two Schools. We covered which Software to use, how to open
a website, what is Google and some were able to register an E-Mail
account already.
Previously we looked at the File Explorer of Microsoft. The students
learned e.g. how to find saved Files and how to create a usefull
folder structur.
Sadly this trimester is over in one and a half weeks, but I hope to be
able to give a holiday workshop in the Trainings Centre again.

Last weekend has been the launching of the 7th edition of “The Youth
Speak: K.E.E.A.”. The magazine contains a lot of interesting articles
about local issues, short stories, poems and jokes. A special thanks
to Sharifa Beckmann and Wiebke Outzen who often worked day and night
to make this magazine a great success.
